I’ve got a question for Oppo. Do you keep the window sticker when you sell a vehicle so the new owner gets to see it or keep it for a memento? Also of happenings and SOON!

Depends on what the buyer wants.

I throw the window sticker in the glove box and it conveys with the sale. So, yes. I've never had a buyer care though *shrug*.

I’d leave the sticker. Get momentos from other things.

I have a center cap that fell off my Saab wagon.

I have the owners manual and some trim pieces from my Saab convertible.

I have a spare key and the badges from my Tacoma (took them off for paint)

I have the BMW style catalog from my e34 and recently found the valet key.

My parents always keep their window stickers, seems fair game to me.

Just so long as you don’t keep the goddamn owners manual.

A guy who’s car is missing it’s specialized to that model owner’s manual

Fold it and stuff it in the back of the manual, an interesting surprise for whoever reads the manual.

The kind of people who read the manual are the kind of people interested in finding the original sticker...

Yeah, people who keep the owners manual are swine. That shit stays with the car.

I’m trading it in, so it doesn’t really matter. I think it will stay with the vehicle, I’ve got enough paper floating around my house that this would just end up stashed somewhere.

A few scenarios play through for me on this:
1) If you meet the buyer/selling it privately, then I’d give the person everything related to the car.
2) If it’s just going to a dealership, maybe not; but I like ‘Wägen, EPA LOL ’s idea of just tucking it in the manual.
3) It’s a nice memento anyways... something to keep in the toolbox to remember about owning that vehicle.
